Advancing Upstream Collaboration with OpenStack

(OpenStack and several projects within it are key components of the OPNFV architecture. In addition to the OPNFV release itself, OPNFV offers a strong single voice for telecom requirements and provides the construct to contribute code on behalf of those requirements. In this talk, you will learn how to effectively collaborate with the key OpenStack projects, Neutron and Nova. Two session presenters are the leaders of OpenStack projects who will walk you through the roles involved and how to best work with them. The final speaker is an OPNFV Doctor committer who has been very successful working with the OpenStack Nova project. The progress of recent OPNFV-initiated features for Nova and Neutron, from inception through implementation in an OpenStack release, and how they were accomplished will be covered.)

  • Armando Migliaccio, OpenStack Neutron PTL, HPE
  • Henry Fourie, OpenStack networking-sfc Project, Huawei
